Uqnatu

Uqnatu is the work of designer Laura Foos, whose interest in indigo, denim and traditional clothing shapes a thoughtful collection made in the USA. The name comes from the ancient Babylonian word for indigo-dyed cloth.

Drawing from vintage workwear and traditional garments, Foos reworks familiar shapes through proportion, construction and comfort. Denim and cotton are central, with pieces meant to be worn often and become more personal over time.
