Engineered Garments’ Officer Pant takes its shape from WWII-era U.S. Navy trousers, with a roomy seat and thigh and an easy, full leg. Daiki Suzuki updates the original with a zipper fly, rear darts and flapped pockets borrowed from British Army officer trousers—a typical EG mix of references that feels familiar without being quite like anything else.
This version is cut in an olive wool-blend flannel, giving the military shape a softer, more tailored character and a beautiful drape. There’s plenty of room without the pant feeling oversized, and the deep olive makes it particularly easy to move between a shirt, sweater or more casual jacket.
